Marshal Award
The NSPA’s highest honor is presented annually to a resident of the Greater Northampton Area of Hampshire County, who is of Irish descent, distinguished his/her self through substantial civic/career contributions and who has supported Irish culture in the City of Northampton.

The James Brennan Award
Awarded to a member of the Northampton St. Patrick’s Association who has actively committed their time and efforts in helping the Association carry out its goals. They are the people who serve on committees, help plan or work at the various functions and commit their support and energy to helping the association run successfully.

The William F. O’Connor Award
The William F. O’Connor Shanachie Award is given annually to one high school senior from Northampton High School, Smith Vocational High School, Hampshire Regional High School. Students who apply for this award must meet the following criteria:
• Be a graduating senior of one of the following high schools: Northampton High School, Smith Vocational High School, Hampshire Regional High School;
• Has worked to his/her full potential during his/her high school years by making the best use of the abilities that he/she possesses;
• Displays a good sense of humor and a knack for storytelling.

Diggins Award
The James M. Diggins Award is given annually to one high school senior from Northampton High School, Smith Vocational High School, Hampshire Regional High School or who is a resident of Northampton and attends a local High School.
Students who apply for this award must meet the following criteria:
-Be a graduating senior of one of the following high schools: Northampton High School, Smith Vocational High School, Hampshire Regional or who is a resident of Northampton and attends a local High School.
-Be committed to continuing their education at a college, trade or technical school.
-Has worked to his/her potential during their high school years by making the best use of
the abilities that he/she possesses.
-Demonstrate volunteerism with their family, friends and community.
